Movie fans have been debating over a very several questions related to the beloved Christmas action movie: is it a best action-movie ever made or is it a best blockbuster to see during Christmas?
A very recent report reveals that 20th Century Fox decided to change the title of the next part of a legendary franchise by dropping the usual Die Hard part. This time, the title is going to be simple and up to the point: McClane. The title was revealed officially by the producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura. The movie is going to possess the nonsensical, at the first glance, duality, being both a prequel and a sequel.
Here is what Bonaventura had to say:
“You can tell our intention by the fact that the title page we handed in says McClane. We want you to get invested in John McClane more than ever before.”
A part of the movies is going to feature a young McClane, which is reported to be set back in 1979 – the very origin of the franchise. Bruce Willis has been reported to be involved in casing of the younger McClane, most likely to assist with the character, which he knows so well.
There is no information on whether the other characters of the franchise are going to reappear in the prequel. The last part of the legendary franchise managed to earn $300 million at the box office back in 2013 worldwide despite negative reviews.
We do hope to see some exciting action this time.
